We spoke on a panel at International Confex in London. Nina Wright (UBM) and Chris Meyer (INXPO) spoke on a panel titled “Virtual Meetings Demystified.“
In an article titled “Delegate information is real value in virtual events, delegates hear at International Confex,” Conference & Incentive Travel summarized key points made during the panel.
Chris Meyer, our EVP, Sales & Marketing, had a notable quote:
“The best content for a virtual event is a physical event.”
This reinforces our belief that the virtual component of a hybrid event serves to complement and magnify the content provided at the physical event.
For instance, the keynote presentation at the physical event can be live-streamed into the virtual experience. Virtual attendees can chat with one another – and, participate in a Twitter stream that bridges the physical and virtual attendees.
