Come See Us at HSMAI Meet: In Person or Virtually (#HSMAIMEET)

hsmai meet washington dc september 2011

HSMAI’s MEET National takes place September 7-8, 2011 in Washington D.C. This year, HSMAI is working with Freeman (an INXPO partner) to create a digital extension to the event, called HSMAI Meet On. You can register for free to attend virtually.

Scheduled Presentations

There’s a great schedule of presentations in store, including two from our very own hybrid event experts, Steve Boyce and Peter Hackes. Steve’s presentation:

Title: Behind the Scenes – An AV Tour of Virtual Broadcast Room & Technology

When: Wednesday, 09/07/2011 11:00AM -11:15AM , Room 206 (and VIRTUAL!)

Description: See first-hand what logistics issues — from the room set, to lighting, to A/V equipment and more – that you should consider as you plan your next virtual meeting extension.

And Peter’s presentation:

Title: Extending Your Physical Event Online: Best Practices for Bringing Show Content to the Web

When: Wednesday, 09/07/2011 4:00PM – 4:25PM , Room 206 (and VIRTUAL!)

Description: Only 5% of the potential audience for most physical events is there on site. Extending events online helps reach thousands of attendees who couldn’t be there in person, and promotes attendance at the next physical event. We’ll look at best practices for selecting which content to provide online, AV requirements for capturing sessions live and on demand, how to bring the expo floor to life with sponsor and exhibitor content and more.
