How @INXPO Uses its Online Platform for Internal Communications

We have our own Social Business TV network. It’s called “INXPO HQ” and in it, our Co-Founder and CEO, Malcolm, has his own CEO Channel. On the first Wednesday of every month, he uses the platform to give a live, video-based “Coffee Talk” to the entire company.

All employees get to tune in and interact, whether they’re physically next to Malcolm in our Chicago headquarters, or viewing on a tablet or smartphone at a client site.

Internal Communications Tips

When using an online platform for your internal communication, Malcolm provides these six tips:

  1. Create a regular heartbeat to your programming.
  2. Keep presentations short.
  3. Use video.
  4. Make it interactive.
  5. Make it viewable on mobile devices.
